New Day Car Wash, Vestavia Hills’ premier automatic car wash, celebrated its new location at 4752 Cahaba River Road with a grand opening event March 8, 2024.

In keeping with its commitment to enriching the local community and supporting its neighbors, New Day Car Wash partnered with Unless U, a local nonprofit organization committed to fostering the growth of adults with disabilities academically, spiritually, physically, socially, and vocationally. New Day offered complimentary Signature car washes (a $35 value) and donated $5 to Unless U for every car washed. Customers were also invited to make additional donations. By the end of the event, New Day had successfully raised $2,130 for the organization.

“It was a joy to partner with Unless U for our grand opening,” said Paden Gaines, director of business operations for LIV Ventures. “Despite the rain we had a great turn out and enjoyed celebrating New Day with our friends at Unless U.”

To top off the festivities, Unless U Scoops, an ice cream shop that provides vocational training for the students of Unless U, served free ice cream to customers. Prominent members of the local community including the Vestavia Hills Chamber of Commerce and Ashley Curry, Mayor of Vestavia Hills, attended the celebration.

New Day Car Wash’s grand opening event not only marked a milestone for the new business but also exemplified its dedication to community support. With the enthusiastic participation of customers and the partnership with Unless U, the event was a true success.
